On January 14, 2010 at about 7:45PM, Detectives from the Gardena Police Department Special Investigations Division conducted a search warrant at a business warehouse located in the 1800 block of 169 Street, in the City of Gardena.  The search warrant came at the culmination of a three-month-long investigation that was initially reported as an anonymous tip.

Detectives found an indoor marijuana grow located within the business warehouse at that location.  The search of the warehouse resulted in the seizure of almost 400 mature marijuana plants, nearly 800 marijuana seedling plants and over two pounds of dried marijuana buds that were packaged and ready to be delivered or sold.

Arrested were Ian Dyche, 28 years old of Playa Del Rey and Bradley Thorne, 28 years old, of Marina Del Rey. Both men were charged with illegally cultivating marijuana for the purposes of profit.
